We acknowledge our presence on the ancestral lands of Indigenous peoples. We honour the lək̓ʷəŋən speaking peoples, including the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations, the Tsawout and Tseycum of the WSÁNEĆ Nation, and the Anishnaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Mississaugas of the Credit, and Wendat peoples. Though not gathered on these lands, we are grateful for the opportunity to work remotely on them and commit to respecting the histories and cultures of these communities.
